Doctolib is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join our Core Reliability & Observability team. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing and implementing our observability strategy, ensuring that our platform remains reliable, debuggable, and scalable. This position bridges infrastructure, developer experience, and product engineering, focusing on enhancing logging, metrics, tracing, and alerting systems across the organization.

As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer, your primary responsibilities will include leading the observability strategy with an emphasis on creating scalable, developer-friendly logging and tracing capabilities. You will identify and spearhead large-scale reliability initiatives, such as improving incident detection, response, and postmortem analysis processes. Additionally, participation in the on-call rotation is expected, with a focus on refining alerting mechanisms, reducing noise, and ensuring actionable telemetry.

The ideal candidate will have over three years of hands-on experience with large-scale production platforms and proven expertise with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. A solid understanding of containerization and orchestration technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes, is essential. Proficiency in managing Kubernetes manifests using Helm and implementing GitOps workflows with ArgoCD is required. Deep knowledge of observability tools and architectures, such as Fluent Bit, OpenTelemetry, Loki, Elasticsearch, Logstash, Vector, Prometheus, Thanos, and Datadog, is crucial. Candidates should also be proficient in at least one programming language, such as Ruby, Python, Go, or Java, and have a strong grasp of infrastructure as code principles. Experience with monitoring and observability tools, as well as a passion for troubleshooting performance issues in complex environments, is highly valued. Fluency in English is required.
