Doctolib is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join our Database Optimization team, focusing on maintaining and enhancing the reliability and performance of our production database systems. As a key player in our tech team, you will contribute to the exponential growth of Doctolib's services, ensuring seamless experiences for healthcare professionals and patients.

In this role, you will design, build, and maintain core infrastructure databases capable of supporting hundreds of thousands of concurrent users. Your responsibilities will include automating deployment, scaling, and maintenance processes to enhance system reliability and operational efficiency. You will implement and improve monitoring, alerting, and incident response mechanisms to proactively address potential issues. Additionally, you will provide documentation and tooling to empower feature teams in their efficient use of databases and collaborate with Database Architects, Principal Engineers, and other Site Reliability Engineers to drive continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate will have over six years of hands-on experience with production platforms, preferably at scale. Proven expertise with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is essential, along with experience in datastores like PostgreSQL, Kafka, or Couchbase. A solid understanding of containerization and orchestration technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes, is required. Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Ruby, Python, Go, Java) and a strong grasp of infrastructure as code principles are also necessary. Fluency in English is mandatory.
