Senior Sales Manager
The Senior Sales Manager at Octopus Electric Vehicles will lead and develop a team of Sales Managers, focusing on driving the growth of the Salary Sacrifice product. This role is pivotal in ensuring the sales teams operate with excellence and align with the company's culture, contributing to the mission of promoting sustainable transportation through electric vehicles.
Key responsibilities include mentoring Sales Managers to enhance their leadership and sales capabilities, overseeing the team's sales pipeline to identify opportunities and address challenges, and championing the company's sales methodology to improve conversion rates and quality. The role also involves recruiting and onboarding high-performing Sales Managers and EV Experts, as well as analyzing customer satisfaction metrics to drive improvements across all customer interactions.
Candidates should possess extensive experience in sales management within B2B or B2B2C environments, particularly in managing managers in high-volume, phone-based settings. A strategic mindset is essential, with the ability to balance daily execution with long-term planning. Strong analytical skills are required to interpret complex data sets and drive performance improvements. Exceptional communication skills are necessary to lead and mentor across multiple management tiers, along with a genuine passion for decarbonization and electric vehicles.
The position offers an uncapped commission structure and a generous car allowance as part of the overall package. The role is based in Weybridge, with an expectation to be in the office 2-3 days a week, providing an inspiring work environment.
