Senior Safety Compliance Lead

In this role, the Senior Safety Compliance Lead will work closely with various teams and leadership across the APJ region. The primary responsibility is to ensure AirTrunk remains ahead of regulatory, customer, and ISO45001 requirements across all jurisdictions. This involves providing proactive oversight of legal changes, customer obligations, and internal controls, embedding compliance into AirTrunk’s systems, documentation, and operating practices.
Key responsibilities include monitoring and interpreting legal updates, assessing the impact of new regulations, providing compliance advice to leadership and site teams, managing AirTrunk’s online EHS legal compliance platform, supporting ISO45001 audits, developing and implementing the Enterprise Safety Assurance Program, reviewing customer SLA safety requirements, and embedding compliance requirements into AirTrunk Safety Management systems.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in safety compliance, WHS legislation, ISO45001, risk management, or safety governance within high-risk or regulated industries. Strong capability in interpreting legislation, standards, and customer requirements is essential, along with experience supporting internal/external audits or assurance programs. The candidate should possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders across regions, and hold formal lead audit qualifications.
