As a Senior Robotics and Automation Developer at Vention, you will be an integral part of the Client Engineering team, focusing on designing, developing, and integrating robotic and automation systems for client applications. In this role, your primary responsibilities will include developing and maintaining software and automation logic with an emphasis on clean, maintainable implementations. You will contribute to Python-based tools and scripts used for automation, testing, configuration, and system orchestration. Additionally, you will support the installation, integration, testing, and commissioning of machines and production systems, while troubleshooting and debugging complex issues across software, electrical, and mechanical boundaries.

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Automation, or a related field, along with over five years of professional experience in industrial automation, robotics, or electromechanical systems. Proficiency with industrial robots such as UR, FANUC, ABB, or KUKA, and/or PLC programming and controls system design using platforms like Siemens TIA Portal or Studio 5000, is essential. Strong problem-solving skills, experience with Python and GitHub, and familiarity with Linux-based environments are also required.
