Senior QA manual Engineer
BrainRocket is seeking a highly skilled Senior Manual QA Engineer to join our Platform team in Yerevan, Armenia. As a global company specializing in end-to-end tech products across Fintech, iGaming, and Marketing, BrainRocket has rapidly expanded its presence in multiple countries. The Platform team focuses on ensuring the quality, stability, and scalability of our core platform components, playing a crucial role in our product development lifecycle.
In this role, you will perform end-to-end manual testing of core platform features, APIs, and integrations. Your responsibilities include collaborating with the team to evolve and implement changes to the overall platform test strategy, investigating and localizing issues using development tools, logs, and databases, managing defects throughout their lifecycle, supporting the release process, and actively collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify risks and improve product quality at early stages. Additionally, you will mentor junior and middle QA engineers and contribute to QA process improvements within the platform team.
The ideal candidate has over four years of experience in software testing, with mandatory experience in backend testing and a deep understanding of client-server architecture. Strong experience in API testing (REST, JSON) using tools like Postman or Swagger is essential, along with solid SQL knowledge for writing complex queries and working directly with databases. Proficiency in defining the scope of testing, maintaining test documentation, and contributing to existing test strategies is required. Advanced analytical troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and a scientific approach to problem-solving are crucial. Familiarity with JIRA and Confluence, strong communication skills, and an intermediate to upper-intermediate level of English are also necessary.
