Senior QA Engineer
Graphcore is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to join our Workload Management team, responsible for enabling next-generation AI accelerator hardware within Kubernetes clusters. This role focuses on validating Kubernetes integrations that facilitate efficient scheduling, orchestration, and utilization of new accelerators across distributed environments. As part of a collaborative team, you will ensure our workload management stack operates reliably in production settings.
Key responsibilities include designing, developing, and maintaining automated test suites for Kubernetes integration components. You will develop end-to-end, integration, and system tests to validate scheduling and resource allocation across Kubernetes clusters. Additionally, you will identify, document, and track defects, collaborating closely with engineering teams to investigate root causes and verify fixes. Contributing to the design of CI/CD pipelines and validating the scalability, performance, and reliability of workload orchestration are also essential aspects of this role.
The ideal candidate will have programming experience in Python and hands-on experience with automation frameworks such as Robot Framework. A solid understanding of Linux systems and experience with CI/CD systems like GitLab CI or GitHub Actions are required. Experience testing distributed systems and the ability to debug complex issues across multiple system layers, including Kubernetes, infrastructure, and applications, are essential. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are also necessary.
