Senior QA Engineer - Colombia

Monks is seeking an experienced and proactive Senior QA Engineer to join our team in Bogotá, Colombia. In this role, you will be instrumental in elevating our quality standards and accelerating the software development lifecycle. Your primary focus will be on designing, developing, and maintaining robust testing frameworks to ensure the functionality and performance of our web, mobile, and backend applications, integrating these tests into a Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) environment.

As a Senior QA Engineer, you will design, implement, and maintain testing strategies and automation frameworks for applications across various platforms. You will ensure the quality of backend systems by creating API and service tests using specialized tools. Additionally, you will integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous execution and provide fast feedback to the development team. Developing clear, detailed testing reports to monitor product quality and leading the adoption of QA best practices within the development teams are also key responsibilities.

The ideal candidate will have an advanced level of English, both written and spoken, and demonstrated experience with quality assurance within a fast-paced, agile SDLC development process. Strong test automation capabilities across web and mobile applications, a solid understanding of backend systems, and proficiency with tools such as Playwright, Postman, and CI/CD tools like Jenkins are essential. Familiarity with agile methodologies and leading quality initiatives within a team is also required.
