Senior QA Automation Engineer
Lucanet is seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer to join our Data Import team, a cross-functional group responsible for integrating large volumes of customer financial data into our platform. This role is pivotal in ensuring the reliability and accuracy of data that underpins our clients' month-end closing and financial reporting processes. As part of our engineering department, you will lead the transition toward a highly automated, AI-assisted quality assurance environment.
In this position, you will champion developer-led testing by mentoring software engineers through pair programming and knowledge sharing, enabling them to confidently write and execute their own tests. You will enhance and maintain robust end-to-end test automation frameworks to handle complex financial data and ERP-like navigation. Additionally, you will implement AI tools to systematically generate tests, write code, and optimize QA workflows, while continuously evaluating and improving our testing architecture and strategies.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in QA automation, specifically with TypeScript and Playwright, and a strong understanding of testing strategies and quality engineering methodologies. Experience with Java or Angular is highly beneficial. A proactive mindset with the ability to challenge existing processes and collaborate effectively is essential. Previous experience transitioning teams from manual to hybrid QA and mentoring other engineers is highly valued.
