Eurofins Agroscience Services EcoChem GmbH is seeking a Senior Study Director in Analytical Chemistry to join their Environmental Fate & Metabolism department. This role involves conducting studies to assess the environmental behavior of chemicals, including 14C-labeled studies in water, soil, and air, as well as metabolism studies in plants and animals. The position is based in Niefern-Öschelbronn, Germany, within a team dedicated to ensuring environmental safety through rigorous scientific analysis.

The Senior Study Director will lead and coordinate studies according to international guidelines such as OECD, SANTE, and EPA. Responsibilities include developing study plans, discussing them with clients, and validating new extraction and analysis methods. The role requires working under Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) standards to ensure comprehensive documentation and producing English-language reports that influence chemical approval processes.

Candidates should possess a degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, or a related field, with a focus on Analytical Chemistry. Experience with radiochemicals (14C and 3H) and instruments like liquid scintillation counters, radio-HPLC, and radio-TLC is essential. A minimum of four years as a study director in a GLP-compliant environment is required. Proficiency in German and English, strong communication skills, analytical thinking, and technical aptitude are also necessary.
