Senior Project Manager - German Speaking

Monks is seeking an experienced, German-speaking Senior IT Project Manager to lead a complex Transition & Transformation (T&T) project for a manufacturing client in Northern Germany. This role involves managing the transition from an existing IT service provider to a new, contracted provider, ensuring the project is delivered on time, within scope, and compliant with contractual agreements. The Senior Project Manager will act as a key representative for the client, working closely with the Monks team.

Key responsibilities include leading the transition of end-user services, such as User Help Desk and Service Management, from the incumbent to the new provider, including nearshore delivery centers. The role also involves coaching the client's project team on contract-compliant implementation, establishing governance and committee structures, coordinating project management activities across European locations, monitoring project schedules and milestones, supporting internal and external communication, and aligning with the Monks team on commercial and contract change topics.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience as a Senior Project Manager in IT outsourcing, with a demonstrable track record of managing complex T&T projects. Fluency in German is required to effectively manage communication with the client and local teams. The candidate must also be able to maintain strict confidentiality, including signing a project agreement and a stringent personal Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA).
