Divergent is seeking a Senior Program Manager to lead its Aerospace and Defense (A&D) initiatives. This role involves managing defense programs that deploy Divergent's technology on both new and existing defense projects. The position also focuses on expanding the company's capabilities to apply the Divergent Adaptive Production System (DAPS™) across a broader range of defense applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in aerospace structures, particularly in aerial defense systems such as unmanned aerial systems or missiles.

Key responsibilities include overseeing all aspects of aerospace and defense programs from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery within cost, schedule, and performance parameters. The role requires leading cross-functional teams by providing strategic technical guidance and programmatic constraints to engineering, manufacturing, and customer personnel. Additionally, the Senior Program Manager will develop and maintain relationships with defense primes, subcontractors, and Department of Defense (DoD) stakeholders to facilitate program success and identify new contracting opportunities.

Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field, along with a minimum of 10 years of experience in program management within the aerospace and defense industry. A strong technical background in aerospace structures programs, including familiarity with finite element analysis (FEA), is essential. Knowledge of additive manufacturing applications and robotic assembly systems is also required. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary to effectively engage and influence both internal and external stakeholders. Experience with DoD acquisition cycles and federal acquisition regulations (FAR) is preferred.
