Senior Product Designer (UX)
As a Senior Product Designer at Moniepoint, you will lead the design of intuitive and accessible financial products, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless user experiences. This role requires a strategic mindset and deep UX/UI expertise to translate complex financial concepts into user-friendly designs.
Your key responsibilities will include defining and executing design strategies aligned with business objectives and user needs, leading the end-to-end design process from research to final UI execution, conducting advanced user research and usability testing, and partnering closely with product managers and engineers to ensure seamless implementation of designs. Additionally, you will design scalable UI components, advocate for accessibility and inclusive design principles, create and refine micro-interactions to improve user engagement, use data-driven insights to continuously improve the user experience, mentor junior designers, and stay ahead of fintech trends to drive product innovation.
To succeed in this role, you should have over 3 years of experience in a senior product design role with a strong focus on UX, mastery of visual design principles, expertise in interaction design and information architecture, deep understanding of designing for both mobile and web platforms, strong knowledge of behavioral psychology, extensive experience conducting usability testing and user interviews, ability to synthesize qualitative and quantitative insights into impactful design decisions, familiarity with UX analytics tools, proficiency in atomic design principles, strong knowledge of motion design tools, experience mentoring junior designers, ability to articulate design rationale and influence stakeholders, comfort working in agile product teams, and proven experience in fintech and/or SaaS environments.
