Senior Product Designer
Pave is seeking a Senior Product Designer to lead the design vision for AI integration across our compensation platform. This role involves defining how AI features are presented, ensuring they communicate effectively, build user trust, and deliver significant impact. The position is based in San Francisco, CA, and New York, NY, with a hybrid work model that includes in-person collaboration on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays.
The Senior Product Designer will establish user experience principles for AI functionalities, develop scalable interaction patterns, and play a pivotal role in shaping product direction. Responsibilities include collaborating closely with Product, Engineering, and Data Science teams to transition concepts from research and iteration phases to fully implemented features.
Candidates should have a proven track record of deploying large language model-powered experiences that demonstrate tangible outcomes such as increased adoption, efficiency, or user trust. Experience in designing comprehensive AI workflows, considering aspects like failure states, user control, and transparency, is essential. The role also requires strategic influence over user experience direction for extensive initiatives, including roadmap prioritization and sequencing in partnership with product and engineering leaders.
Pave offers a competitive compensation package, with targeted cash compensation ranging from $148,000 to $240,000, depending on experience and performance.
