Senior Planner
BESIX Watpac is seeking a Senior Planner to join our Queensland Construction team. As a key member of our collaborative team, you will contribute to both tender processes and project delivery within a company renowned for its expertise in complex building and infrastructure projects. In this role, you will develop and maintain tender and project programs, ensuring they are accurate and comply with contract requirements. You will collaborate with pre-contracts and delivery teams to prepare methodologies, bids, and submissions. Monitoring project progress, identifying risks, and reporting status updates with remedial actions are key aspects of your day-to-day responsibilities. Additionally, you will create and maintain records to support contractual obligations, including extension of time claims, and drive innovation through the adoption of new planning methods, software, and industry best practices.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in supporting the delivery of large building projects with accurate and effective construction programs. A strong knowledge of commercial requirements and processes in tendering and project delivery is essential. You should possess the ability to manage complex tasks under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills are required, with the ability to influence and build effective relationships. A high level of professionalism, initiative, and sound judgment in decision-making is also expected.
