Senior PHP Developer

In this position, you will be responsible for developing new features, refining existing backend code, and optimizing database performance. The day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating closely with frontend engineers, product managers, and quality assurance teams to deliver high-quality releases. You will also work on RESTful APIs, troubleshoot production issues, and help implement and enforce development best practices within the team.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with PHP, including working with frameworks such as Symfony or Laravel. Strong knowledge of MySQL, REST API design, and scalable production systems is required. Familiarity with cloud services, Docker, automated testing, and agile methodologies is a plus, as is previous experience in high-traffic environments. Strong problem-solving abilities and communication skills are essential for success in this role.
