The Senior Payroll Analyst at OneTrust is responsible for overseeing the full payroll cycle, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant payroll processing. This role involves leading payroll operations, managing payroll systems, supporting regulatory compliance, and collaborating with HR and Finance to maintain efficient payroll practices.

Key responsibilities include accurately calculating wages, overtime, bonuses, commissions, and deductions for U.S. bi-weekly hourly payroll, semi-monthly salaried payroll, and Canadian semi-monthly payroll. The analyst will interpret and implement involuntary garnishments and child support orders, work closely with HR and Benefits teams regarding employee changes, collaborate with accounting for payroll reconciliation, oversee payroll tax filings and reporting done by the OSV payroll vendor, and register or close out state/local jurisdictions as needed. Additionally, the role involves maintaining knowledge of payroll legislation and regulatory changes, optimizing payroll systems (Workday for the U.S. and CloudPay for Canada), implementing payroll process improvements and automation, ensuring data integrity and compliance with internal controls and company policy, conducting payroll audits, and assisting with internal and external audits.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, with over 10 years of hands-on multi-state payroll experience and at least 2 years of supervisory experience. Strong knowledge of payroll laws, FLSA, federal/state/local tax regulations, and a solid understanding of California labor laws are essential. Advanced Excel or payroll analytics skills, excellent communication and organizational abilities, experience with payroll systems such as Workday, CloudPay, and OSV, as well as problem-solving and analytical skills, and strong attention to detail are also required.

For candidates based in California, Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada, New York, Rhode Island, and Washington, the annual base pay range for this role is $90,000 to $135,000 USD. Individual pay is determined by factors including location, job-related skills, work experience, and relevant education and/or training. This role may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, equity, and/or commissions, as well as benefits.
