Senior .Net Engineer
Eurofins is seeking a Engineer to join its BioPharma Product Testing (BPT) division, the largest network of bio/pharmaceutical GMP product testing laboratories worldwide. This role is based in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, and involves working within a global engineering team focused on developing next-generation applications and Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS). The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the Eurofins Electronic Notebook application, ensuring prompt support and minimizing business impact from application-related issues.
Key responsibilities include implementing customer feedback through changes and enhancements, advanced troubleshooting and issue resolution, conducting root cause analysis for recurring or high-impact issues, and collaborating with development teams to implement long-term fixes. The role also involves application monitoring and performance tuning using tools like Grafana and Kibana, supporting production deployments, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and maintaining documentation for all changes and incidents. Additionally, the Engineer will work closely with DevOps, QA, and product teams to resolve issues and guide junior team members in handling product improvements and customer feedback.
The ideal candidate should have 1 to 4 years of experience developing end-to-end web applications using the Microsoft stack of technologies. Proficiency Core (6/7/8), C#, Core, MVC, WebAPI, and Postman is required. Experience with Angular 7 or above, JavaScript, TypeScript, jQuery, HTML5, and CSS3 is essential. A solid understanding of Cosmos DB, Elastic Search, Redis, Azure Functions, Azure DevOps, CI/CD, event-driven architecture, domain-driven architecture, microservices, and MSSQL is also necessary. Familiarity with UI testing and unit testing frameworks, object-oriented programming principles, and code review processes is expected. A background in Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) projects and Agile methodologies, preferably SCRUM, is advantageous.
