Storable is seeking a Senior Manager of Test Engineering to lead a shift-left quality transformation within its engineering organization. This role involves building and operating enterprise-scale testing platforms and enablement programs that integrate quality earlier in the software development lifecycle, enhancing automation and reliability for Storable's multi-tenant SaaS products. The position reports to the Vice President of Quality & Automation and offers a remote work environment within the United States.

The Senior Manager will define and own the shift-left testing strategy in collaboration with product, platform, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), and security teams. Responsibilities include leading a high-performing test platform and enablement team, translating business and reliability goals into a clear roadmap for quality platforms, tooling, and practices, and establishing and tracking quality and reliability key performance indicators (KPIs) such as defect escape rate, flaky test rate, mean time to recovery (MTTR), change fail rate, and performance service level objectives (SLOs).

Candidates should have at least 10 years of experience in software or quality engineering, including a minimum of 4 years leading engineering teams. Proven experience leading test/platform, Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET), SRE, or DevOps teams in a multi-service SaaS environment is essential. A strong technical background in Python, Java, or Go, with working knowledge of the others, is required. Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks, performance and load testing tools, and integrating tests into continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines is also necessary.

The compensation for this role ranges from $175,000 to $220,000 annually. Storable offers a comprehensive benefits package, including generous health coverage, 401(k) matching after 60 days, employer contributions to Health Savings Accounts (HSA), flexible vacation policies, paid parental leave, and various wellness programs. Additional perks include a monthly home data stipend, a home office sign-on bonus, and access to financial experts to assist with financial goals.

Storable fosters a culture of continuous improvement, data-driven decision-making, and blameless post-mortems. The company emphasizes professional growth through enablement programs such as standards, playbooks, training, office hours, and communities of practice. Employees are encouraged to participate in volunteer and community service events, reflecting Storable's commitment to corporate responsibility and community engagement.
