Senior Manager, Strategic Finance

The Senior Manager, Strategic Finance will play a pivotal role in developing and shaping Flex's business and financial strategy. This position involves working closely with various teams to bring business model expertise, financial acumen, and analytical skills to key strategic decisions and problem-solving initiatives. The role is part of the Strategic Finance team, which focuses on ensuring predictability, maximizing return on investment, and serving as a bridge between internal operations and external perspectives.
Key responsibilities include supporting strategic alignment, financial modeling, and data analysis across teams; developing frameworks and processes to optimize resource allocation decisions; creating and managing financial forecasting tools and operating models to enhance predictability; establishing metrics, reporting, forecasting, and performance targets to align strategy with measurement; and leading research and data analysis to support problem-solving across functional areas. Additionally, the role involves developing and maintaining insightful reporting on key performance indicators, growth trends, and operational metrics for internal and external stakeholders, as well as influencing decision-making within groups and leadership audiences.
The ideal candidate will possess at least 5 years of experience in strategic finance, financial planning and analysis, business operations, consulting, or investment banking. A Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required. The candidate should have strong financial modeling skills, a deep understanding of fintech or financial services business models, and experience with operations or strategy at a high-growth tech company. Highly analytical with an interest in complex data analysis, the candidate should also have superior communication skills and the ability to collaborate across all levels of the organization. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is required, and experience with databases, SQL, and business intelligence tools is a plus.
Flex offers a competitive compensation package, with a base salary range of $172,000 to $215,000 USD for candidates located in Tier 1 markets such as New York City and San Francisco. For other U.S. locations, compensation is adjusted based on a geographic pay differential aligned with market conditions. The company also provides a relocation assistance program for eligible candidates outside the NY/NJ area.
