Senior Manager - Legal & Compliance
Time Hack Consulting is seeking a seasoned Senior Manager to lead our Legal and Compliance functions. This pivotal role involves overseeing corporate governance, managing legal risks, and ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements across our diverse financial products. Reporting directly to the Co-founder and COO, the successful candidate will play a strategic role in shaping governance practices and facilitating business growth while maintaining strict compliance standards.
The Senior Manager will be responsible for leading the Legal and Company Secretarial (CS) functions, ensuring compliance with all statutory, regulatory, and corporate governance requirements. Key duties include managing legal matters related to business operations, contracts, and regulatory frameworks, driving compliance with RBI guidelines and other applicable financial regulations, and overseeing board processes, filings, and documentation in line with corporate governance standards. Additionally, the role involves identifying and mitigating legal and compliance risks across products and operations, collaborating with internal stakeholders, managing external legal counsel, and providing strategic legal advice to leadership on business initiatives and regulatory changes.
The ideal candidate will possess strong experience in Legal and Company Secretarial functions, preferably within the fintech or financial services sectors. An in-depth understanding of statutory compliances, corporate laws, and regulatory frameworks is essential, along with working knowledge of RBI regulations and financial product compliance requirements. Proven ability to lead teams and manage external stakeholders effectively, strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a risk-focused mindset, and excellent communication and stakeholder management skills are also required. The candidate should be capable of operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with ownership and accountability, demonstrating high attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining ethical and compliance standards.
The position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from ₹2,000,000 to ₹3,200,000, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
