Senior Manager, GBS Accounting
The Senior Manager, GBS Accounting at CoreWeave will lead and scale critical accounting operations within the Global Business Services organization. This role is responsible for overseeing payroll accounting, commissions accounting, and core accounting processing performed by the GBS team. The position involves partnering closely with Corporate Accounting leadership to ensure accurate financial reporting, SOX-compliant controls, and continuous process improvement across Record-to-Report (R2R) activities. This is a highly visible leadership role combining people management, operational excellence, and transformation as CoreWeave scales globally.
Key responsibilities include managing payroll accounting and incentive compensation accruals, overseeing commissions accounting, and supporting month-end and quarter-end close processes. The role also involves reviewing journal entries, reconciliations, and flux analysis, as well as managing offshore or nearshore accounting teams. Additionally, the Senior Manager will collaborate with People Operations, Sales Operations, and FP&A to ensure accurate financial reporting and efficient service delivery.
The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of progressive accounting experience, including operational or shared services leadership, and a minimum of 3 years of people management experience. Demonstrated experience in payroll accounting, incentive compensation accruals, and commissions accounting is required. Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and Record-to-Report processes, as well as hands-on experience operating in a SOX 404–compliant, publicly traded company environment, are essential. Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP, or Workday, and advanced Excel skills are also necessary.
The base salary range for this role is $135,000 to $198,000, determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location.
