Senior Manager (EHS Global)
Azurity Pharmaceuticals is seeking a Senior Manager (EHS Global) to lead the development and implementation of global Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) policies and procedures. This role is integral to ensuring compliance with local governing bodies and maintaining high safety and sustainability standards across all Azurity locations. The position is based in Hyderabad, India, and involves collaboration with various teams to achieve the company's 2026 safety and sustainability goals.
The Senior Manager will be responsible for conducting regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions. They will design and deliver training programs for employees on safety procedures and regulatory requirements, investigate workplace accidents to determine root causes, and develop emergency response plans. Additionally, the role includes acting as the primary contact for regulatory agencies, managing all required reporting and correspondence, and maintaining accurate records of incidents and compliance reports.
Candidates should possess a bachelor's or postgraduate degree in environmental engineering, with a diploma or equivalent in workplace safety considered an added advantage. A minimum of 10 to 15 years of experience in EHS roles is required, along with strong communication and management skills. Experience in local regulatory submissions, effluent and waste management, and handling potent molecules with their Occupational Exposure Limit (OEL) categories is essential. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in establishing and enhancing EHS/Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) systems across diverse environments.
