Senior Manager, Data & Technology
The Senior Manager, Data & Technology at WPP Media Hong Kong will lead large-scale Martech projects, including analytics, business intelligence, and data science initiatives. This role involves managing the entire project lifecycle, from gathering requirements to final implementation, ensuring that client objectives are effectively translated into technical solutions. The position requires close collaboration with both internal teams and external partners to deliver high-quality data solutions that drive business success.
Key responsibilities include overseeing the design and delivery of data management processes, leading and mentoring junior data resources, and developing automated data collection solutions from various sources such as ad servers, social networks, and search engines. The Senior Manager will also build and maintain relationships with key data stakeholders to ensure the timely delivery of accurate data, manage project timelines and risks, and support the adoption of new data techniques and tools within the organization.
The ideal candidate will have over seven years of experience in data-centric roles, with at least three years in project leadership and client management. A bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Mathematics, or a related technical field is required. Proficiency in web analytics platforms like Google Analytics and Adobe Analytics, tag management systems such as Google Tag Manager, SQL, data warehousing platforms like BigQuery or AWS, and BI tools like Tableau or PowerBI is essential. A deep understanding of the digital media landscape, modern tracking techniques, and global data privacy regulations is also necessary. Fluency in English and Cantonese is required.
