Candidates should possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative field, with over 10 years of experience in data science or analytics roles, including 4-7 years in people management. Proficiency in SQL and Python, experience with modern data transformation tools, and familiarity with machine learning and forecasting methods are essential. Strong executive communication skills and a track record of applying data science to revenue or growth challenges in a B2B SaaS environment are also required.
