Metropolis is seeking a Senior Learning Experience Designer to develop scalable and engaging learning programs that support employee growth and align with business objectives. This role involves collaborating with People Partners, subject matter experts, and business leaders to create high-quality, learner-centered solutions that thrive in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.

Key responsibilities include designing and developing learning programs, courses, and resources aligned with business priorities and learning and development strategies. The role requires applying instructional design methodologies and adult learning principles to create experiences that drive knowledge retention and on-the-job application. Additionally, the designer will partner with subject matter experts to translate complex concepts into clear, accessible, and impactful learning content.

The ideal candidate will have over five years of experience in instructional design, learning experience design, or learning and development program development. A strong grounding in adult learning theory, instructional design models, and blended learning strategies is essential. Demonstrated experience creating video-based learning content, including the use of AI-enabled video tools, is also required. Proficiency in eLearning authoring tools such as Articulate 360/Rise, Camtasia, Captivate, or similar tools is expected.

The anticipated base salary for this position ranges from $95,000 to $115,000 annually. The actual base salary offered is determined by various factors, including the applicant's qualifications, years of relevant experience, distinctive skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location of residence and/or place of employment. Base salary is one component of Metropolis' total compensation package, which may also include access to or eligibility for healthcare benefits, a 401(k) plan, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, a lucrative stock option plan, bonus plans, and more.
