Senior Laboratory Technician

Eurofins is seeking a Senior Laboratory Technician to join our team in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. This role is integral to our mission of delivering accurate and reliable testing services to our clients.

The Senior Laboratory Technician will be responsible for preparing agar plates for testing, working aseptically in a Biological Safety Cabinet, and managing the receipt and stocking of consumable items following the Kanban process. Additional duties include registering incoming samples, maintaining accurate records of daily work, and adhering to all health, safety, and environmental regulations. The technician will also identify process difficulties and propose solutions to supervisors, ensuring a clean and safe work environment.

Candidates must possess a high school diploma and have 1-2 years of laboratory experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, and strong communication abilities are essential. The role requires the ability to lift up to 40 lbs, stand for the entirety of the shift, and work overtime or holidays as needed. Authorization to work in the United States without immediate or future sponsorship is required.
