The Senior IT Business Analyst - Finance & Shared Services at Eurofins plays a pivotal role within the local IT Finance team, acting as the primary partner and backup for the IT Finance Manager. This position is integral to ensuring the operational continuity of the National Service Center (NSC) IT solutions and actively participates in projects aimed at their improvement and expansion. The role serves as a bridge between high-level management and the technical team, ensuring that all financial and operational systems, including AX2012, Coupa, Notilus, and Summar, align with business objectives and adhere to Group standards.
Key responsibilities include acting as the primary point of contact and decision-maker in the absence of the IT Finance Manager, representing the department in national and regional committees. The analyst assists in defining the local IT Finance roadmap, budgeting for the NSC IT department, and resource planning. Additionally, the role involves directing the day-to-day activities of IT Finance analysts to ensure the team meets established SLAs and KPIs for the NSC.
Operational duties encompass identifying and executing opportunities to enhance productivity within Finance, Treasury, and Purchasing departments through automation and enhancement of core tools such as AX2012, Coupa, Notilus, and A365. The analyst leads the identification of bottlenecks in financial processes and implements IT solutions to increase productivity and internal control. Responsibilities also include overseeing the technical integration of new acquisitions into the NSC model, ensuring a smooth transition of financial and payroll data, and monitoring the performance and integration of the Summar/Mentor payroll solution to ensure its reliability and data flow into the financial ERP.
Candidates should possess a university degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or Finance-related disciplines, with 3-4 years of experience in IT Finance environments. A proven track record of leadership responsibilities or acting as a second-in-command is essential. Advanced knowledge of Financial ERPs, particularly Dynamics 365 and AX2012, and Procurement tools like Coupa is required. An understanding of Shared Service Centre dynamics and financial reporting cycles is also necessary. Fluency in English is mandatory for reporting and international collaboration. Soft skills such as a high sense of responsibility, strong communication abilities to interact with senior stakeholders, and strategic problem-solving capabilities are highly valued.
