Senior IP Counsel – Materials Group

Avery Dennison Corporation, a global leader in materials science and digital identification solutions, is seeking a Senior IP Counsel for its Materials Group. This role is based in Mentor, Ohio, with a preference for hybrid work; remote options may be considered for qualified non-local candidates. The Senior IP Counsel will report to the Vice President & Associate General Counsel, Global M&A and Intellectual Property, and will collaborate closely with the company's technology and innovation leadership teams, as well as regional directors of R&D, Marketing, and Procurement. The ideal candidate will provide direct, hands-on legal leadership for core material science platforms, including pressure-sensitive adhesives, functional coatings, and digital identification technologies.
