Senior Infrastructure Engineer

Peregrine Technologies is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to design and implement the infrastructure powering our AI-enabled platform. This role involves building highly available and secure production systems, architecting scalable network topologies, and supporting massive data processing to enhance operational intelligence for public safety organizations and government agencies.

Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining complex infrastructure for web applications with strict uptime requirements, leveraging AWS GovCloud, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Pulumi, PostgreSQL, Redshift, and Elasticsearch. The engineer will also focus on ensuring platform and data security, managing terabytes of data, and accelerating the engineering lifecycle through automation and best practices.

The ideal candidate has over 8 years of experience in building and maintaining large-scale software systems, with expertise in cloud-based network systems across diverse customer environments. Proficiency in modern software development practices, containerization, orchestration technologies, and scripting languages like Python and Bash is essential. A strong background in Linux system administration and experience with Infrastructure as Code tools are also required.
