Senior Global Supply Manager
Oklo is seeking a Senior Global Supply Manager to lead the company's supply base strategy for critical nuclear hardware and production systems. This strategic role involves designing and optimizing Oklo's supplier ecosystem to support the development of advanced fission power plants. The position reports to the Senior Director of Procurement & Supply Chain and collaborates closely with Engineering, Finance, Quality, Manufacturing, and Program leadership teams.
The Senior Global Supply Manager will develop and execute comprehensive supply base strategies, ensuring each critical component has a defined sourcing plan aligned with deployment timelines and scaling objectives. Responsibilities include transitioning from reactive purchasing to proactive sourcing, identifying single-source risks, and mitigating supply bottlenecks. The role also involves establishing supplier segmentation frameworks, managing the Approved Supplier List, and driving supplier performance management through scorecards and corrective actions.
Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree in engineering, supply chain, business, or a related field, along with at least seven years of experience in supply chain, strategic sourcing, or category management within a hardware-focused industry. Direct experience with nuclear hardware or energy systems under regulatory frameworks is essential. Strong skills in cost analysis, supplier risk management, capacity planning, and complex negotiations are required. U.S. citizenship is mandatory for this role.
The position offers a salary range of $135,000 to $165,000 annually, along with benefits such as flexible time off, equity options, 401(k) plans, health insurance, and flexible work hours. The role is based in Santa Clara, CA, with remote work options available within the United States. Remote employees are expected to travel to headquarters twice per quarter for team meetings and events, with an initial two-week in-person onboarding period.
