Senior General Liability Attorney

Wilson Elser is seeking a Senior General Liability Attorney to join its Atlanta, Georgia office. This role offers the opportunity to work on challenging cases and be at the forefront of litigating emerging legal issues, with talented colleagues throughout the country, and provide sound counsel to our clients.

The attorney will independently manage a litigation caseload, working cases from inception through resolution. Responsibilities include drafting pleadings, motions, briefs, and legal memoranda; attending court hearings, depositions, and mediations; and collaborating effectively with colleagues across departments and offices to contribute to a cohesive and supportive team environment. Regular communication with clients to provide status reports is also essential.

Candidates must possess a Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school and be admitted to practice in the state of Georgia. A minimum of 8 years of defense litigation experience is required, with a preference for experience in general liability, premises, products, transportation, employment, or insurance litigation. Superior analytical skills, strong written and oral communication abilities, and sophisticated technical skills are necessary. First chair trial experience is a plus.
