Canva is seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer for a 12-month fixed-term contract to join the Business Solutions Engineering team within the Technology Experience group. In this position, you will lead initiatives from discovery through production, architecting elegant and maintainable system architectures that balance immediate needs with long-term scalability. The ideal candidate possesses strong computer science fundamentals and a proven track record of designing and delivering complex, scalable web applications. Expert-level proficiency in Python and React/TypeScript is essential, along with deep experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP.
