Senior Full Stack Developer (Node.js & React) - Fintech Solution

BrainRocket is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer with expertise in Node.js and React to join our development team in Lisbon, Portugal. This role focuses primarily on backend development (80%) with Node.js, complemented by frontend tasks (20%) using React. The successful candidate will contribute to building and scaling a next-generation payments integration platform that connects businesses with multiple financial service providers through secure, high-performance APIs.

In this position, you will design, implement, and optimize robust solutions to enhance our proprietary payments platform, ensuring high performance, scalability, and security. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining complex integrations with banks, payment service providers, and other third-party systems, as well as actively participating in all stages of feature development, from initial concept and technical design to implementation and final delivery. Collaboration within agile development cycles, including bi-weekly sprints and SCRUM practices, is essential.

The ideal candidate will have over five years of professional experience in web development, with at least three years of hands-on experience with Node.js and React. Proficiency in TypeScript, Next.js, Nest.js, Apollo, and Material UI is required, along with experience working with high-load SQL and NoSQL databases. Familiarity with REST, GraphQL, WebSockets, TDD principles, microservice architecture, and tools like Git, RabbitMQ, Redis, MongoDB, and MySQL is also necessary. Advanced English skills, both written and spoken, are essential.
