Black Duck Software, Inc. is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join our dynamic team in Toronto, Canada. As a leader in application security, Black Duck provides solutions that help organizations build secure, high-quality software by managing risks in open source and third-party code. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to our mission by providing critical financial insights that drive strategic decision-making.

In this position, you will support the annual operating plan, forecasts, and variance analysis, ensuring our financials are accurate and actionable. You will own key components of the monthly and quarterly close processes, prepare financial content for business and product reviews, and deliver weekly cash flow analyses. Additionally, you will build and present forecast analyses, including product P&Ls, to support investment decisions, and create executive and board-ready presentations that translate complex data into clear insights.

The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of finance experience, preferably in a tech or SaaS environment, and a solid understanding of GAAP and financial statements. Strong financial modeling and analytical skills, advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, and excellent communication and organizational abilities are essential. Experience with Workday Adaptive Planning and NetSuite is strongly preferred.

The base salary range for this role is $79,800 – $119,700 CAD, plus bonus eligibility. Black Duck offers a competitive total rewards package, with actual compensation based on location, skills, experience, and education.
