Senior Financial Analyst - Asset Management and FP&A

Public Storage is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join its Facilities and Asset Management organization. This role is integral to the company's financial planning and analysis (FP&A) efforts, focusing on expense and capital management. The position offers an opportunity to contribute to a leading self-storage company with a vast portfolio across the U.S. and Europe.

The Senior Financial Analyst will lead FP&A responsibilities, including monthly and quarterly close processes, quarterly forecasts, and the annual operating plan. Key duties involve preparing variance analyses, management reporting, and corporate deliverables. The role also requires close collaboration with the Data Analytics team to maintain and develop reporting tools that enhance forecast accuracy and provide actionable insights to senior leadership. Additionally, the analyst will work with Accounting to ensure accurate cost recording and support ad-hoc financial analyses and special projects as needed.

Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Investment Banking, or a related field, along with 3–5 years of relevant financial analysis or FP&A experience. Essential skills include proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI, and familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle. Strong cross-functional relationship-building abilities and a basic understanding of SQL or similar querying languages are also desirable.
