Senior Director, Strategy & Operations
Storable is seeking a Senior Director of Strategy & Operations to lead the scaling of our New Verticals business, encompassing the Marine and RV/Campground sectors. This pivotal role involves close collaboration with Sales, Customer Success, Product, Marketing, Finance, and HR teams to drive alignment, execution, and operational excellence. The successful candidate will translate strategic objectives into actionable plans, establish robust operational rhythms, and ensure the organization meets its priorities and measurable outcomes. This high-impact position offers direct exposure to senior leadership and the opportunity to build and lead teams as the business grows.
Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining a consistent operating cadence through weekly pipeline and forecast reviews, monthly business reviews, and quarterly planning sessions. The role demands driving accountability and ensuring follow-through on key initiatives across various teams. Identifying and resolving operational bottlenecks through cross-functional collaboration is essential. Additionally, the Senior Director will partner with the General Manager and leadership team to define annual and quarterly plans, key performance indicators, and cross-functional initiatives, aligning teams around clear priorities and success metrics. Enhancing forecasting, target setting, and planning processes in partnership with Sales, Revenue Operations, and Finance is also a critical aspect of the role.
The ideal candidate will possess over seven years of experience in Strategy & Operations, Business Operations, or similar roles within the B2B SaaS industry, particularly in growth-stage or scaling environments. A proven ability to drive complex, cross-functional initiatives without direct authority is essential. The candidate should have a strong track record in building and managing operating cadences such as quarterly business reviews and pipeline reviews. A deep understanding of SaaS metrics, including Annual Recurring Revenue, bookings, retention, and pipeline coverage, is required. Experience with forecasting, financial modeling, and business case development is necessary, along with the ability to connect operational performance to revenue outcomes and business strategy. Proficiency in analytical tools such as Excel or Google Sheets, Salesforce, and business intelligence platforms like Looker, Tableau, or Power BI is expected. Excellent communication and executive storytelling skills are crucial, with the ability to create clear, concise, and compelling presentations for senior stakeholders.
