Senior Director - Commerce
The Senior Director - Commerce at WPP Media will lead the integration of media commerce campaigns with overall digital and mainline campaign planning and execution. This role involves managing and tracking the performance of media commerce campaigns across various channels, including search, display, DSP, and off-platform performance marketing. Additionally, the Senior Director will champion the adoption of e-commerce strategies across all client media plans, promoting early adoption within internal and external teams.
Key responsibilities include overseeing the seamless integration of media commerce campaigns with broader digital and mainline strategies, ensuring cohesive execution. The role requires executing and monitoring the performance of media commerce campaigns across multiple platforms, such as search, display, DSP, and off-platform performance marketing. Furthermore, the Senior Director will advocate for the incorporation of e-commerce strategies into all client media plans, fostering early adoption among internal and external stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of the e-commerce ecosystem and business landscape, including marketplaces, e-grocers, and hyperlocal platforms. A strong grasp of digital advertising and media platforms like Google, Facebook, and Amazon is essential, with knowledge of their capabilities, metrics, and implications for clients' e-commerce business strategies. The candidate should have experience leveraging industry connections to achieve e-commerce targets and demonstrate execution experience with e-commerce industry ad platforms, such as Amazon Search and DSP. Experience in managing performance marketing and brand media campaigns on leading e-commerce platforms is advantageous. Additionally, experience in roles such as Category Management, Media Monetization, E-commerce Key Account Management, Business Development, and Strategic Alliances is desirable.
