Senior Digital Production Designer/Retoucher
Monks is seeking a talented Senior Digital Production Designer/Retoucher to join our dedicated global team in producing top-quality content for the product interfaces of one of the world’s most recognizable brands. In this senior-level role, you will specialize in designing static visuals across various channels, including product interfaces, social media, and display advertising. As part of a collaborative team of designers, illustrators, animators, editors, and art directors, you will contribute to creating world-class work across time zones.
Your primary responsibilities will include harmonizing speed, style, and scale to produce a high volume of visually appealing assets at a steady pace. Ensuring pixel-perfect quality is paramount, and you will work closely with QA testers to maintain this standard. You will also ensure that designs adhere to brand guidelines and maintain consistency across various ad formats, dimensions, and languages. Additionally, you will perform professional photo retouching and image editing tasks, such as color correction, skin retouching, background clean-up, compositing, and artifact removal, to ensure all assets meet brand standards and visual consistency across channels.
The ideal candidate will have approximately 6+ years of experience in digital production design, retouching, and crafting digital ads and assets. Proficiency in Photoshop and Illustrator is essential, with Sketch skills considered a bonus. Mastery of silhouetting and retouching techniques is required, along with a strong understanding of color management, image resolution, compression, and exporting for various ad networks and platforms. Experience collaborating directly with client-side art directors and stakeholders is important, as is the ability to manage tasks independently, contribute to different stages of the production process, and create balanced and beautiful layouts. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and clear communication abilities are also essential.
Monks offers a comprehensive benefits package, including excellent, full coverage medical, dental, and vision insurance, generous PTO and 15 company-wide holidays, 401k with company contribution, paid parental leave, and a focus on work-life balance with an emphasis on personal well-being.
