Senior DevOps Engineer (Cloudflare)

BrainRocket is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team in Belgrade, Serbia. As a global company specializing in end-to-end tech products across Fintech, iGaming, and Marketing, we are expanding our operations and looking for talented individuals to contribute to our innovative projects.

In this role, you will manage and optimize Edge Services across multiple providers, including Cloudflare, Fastly, and Gcore. Your responsibilities will encompass configuring DNS, CDN, Edge Computing (Snippets/Workers), Access Control, and WAF policies. Additionally, you will design and implement cloud-agnostic failover strategies and high-availability solutions to ensure service continuity, preventing vendor lock-in and dependency on a single provider.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability, or related roles with a focus on Cloudflare services. A solid understanding of the HTTP protocol, caching principles, and CDN concepts is essential. Experience managing Cloudflare DNS, Firewall Rules, Page Rules, Workers, and related services is required. Strong knowledge of Nginx (or similar technologies like Envoy or HAProxy) for reverse proxy and load balancing, as well as proficiency with Infrastructure as Code concepts and practical experience with Terraform, are also necessary.
