Senior DataOps Engineer
The Senior DataOps Engineer at BrainRocket will play a pivotal role in managing and optimizing the company's data systems and processes. Reporting directly to the Data Operations Lead, this position is integral to ensuring data integrity, accessibility, and security across the organization's data platform. BrainRocket is a global company creating end-to-end tech products for clients across Fintech, iGaming, and Marketing, with a dynamic team of 1,300 professionals driving innovation and rapid growth.
Key responsibilities include developing and enforcing effective data management policies, ensuring data accuracy and security through regular maintenance, and supporting the implementation of data quality standards. The role also involves managing and optimizing data pipelines and ETL processes, troubleshooting data-related issues promptly, and monitoring the performance of data systems to meet operational standards. Collaboration with various teams, including Data Engineering, Business Intelligence, Analytics, and Business units, is essential to support data initiatives and ensure alignment on projects.
The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of Python engineering experience and 2 years of experience with SQL. Proficiency in data manipulation languages, experience with cloud data warehousing solutions such as Snowflake, Redshift, or BigQuery, and familiarity with ETL tools like Apache NiFi or Airflow are required. Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), strong problem-solving skills, and excellent communication and teamwork abilities are also essential. Experience with data quality management, agile methodologies, and data governance frameworks is advantageous.
