Senior Data Scientist, Trust and Safety

Epic Games is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to join our Trust and Safety team, dedicated to ensuring a secure and fair environment across our gaming platforms. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop data-driven solutions that enhance user safety and maintain the integrity of our gaming experiences.

The Senior Data Scientist will be responsible for analyzing large datasets to identify patterns indicative of fraudulent or harmful behavior. They will design and implement machine learning models to detect and mitigate risks, and work closely with engineering teams to integrate these models into our systems. Additionally, they will monitor the effectiveness of deployed solutions and continuously refine them based on new data and emerging threats.

Candidates should have a strong background in data science, with experience in machine learning, statistical analysis, and data visualization. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R is essential, along with experience working with large-scale data processing frameworks. A solid understanding of trust and safety challenges in online platforms is highly desirable.
