Senior Cyber Security Analyst

Clifford Chance, a leading international law firm with over 30 offices worldwide, is seeking a Senior Cyber Security Analyst to join its dedicated cyber security team. This role is integral to safeguarding the firm's global operations and supporting its 6,000+ staff in maintaining secure and efficient work environments.

As a Senior Cyber Security Analyst, you will be responsible for managing and investigating cyber security incidents from initial detection through to resolution. This includes collaborating with Major Incident Management teams and the Head of Cyber Security to address significant incidents, documenting findings, and utilizing various tools such as Microsoft Defender, SIEM products, and malware analysis for thorough investigations. Additionally, you will oversee the firm's Vulnerability Scanning solution, coordinate the remediation of vulnerabilities across multiple teams, and provide detailed reports and metrics. Your role will also involve scoping and managing penetration testing and red teaming activities, conducting threat hunting across the network, and mentoring junior analysts.

Ideal candidates will possess a strong analytical skill set, a keen attention to detail, and a deep understanding of current and evolving cyber threats. Experience with incident response, vulnerability management, and threat intelligence is essential. The ability to work collaboratively with IT and business risk colleagues, as well as legal professionals, is crucial. A proactive approach to continuous improvement in cyber security practices and the capacity to mentor and support junior team members are also highly valued.
