Senior Counsel, Vendor Contract Legal
Oscar Health is seeking a Senior Counsel to join its Legal team, focusing on vendor contract legal matters. The Senior Counsel will be responsible for drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of vendor contracts, including master service agreements, statements of work, and amendments. They will provide legal guidance on vendor-related issues, ensuring that all agreements comply with applicable laws and internal policies. Additionally, the role involves advising internal stakeholders on contractual rights and obligations, as well as identifying and mitigating potential risks associated with vendor engagements.
Candidates must possess a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and be a member in good standing of a state bar association. A minimum of 8 years of legal experience, with significant exposure to drafting and negotiating complex vendor contracts, is required. The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, strong written and verbal communication abilities, and the capacity to manage multiple high-priority projects simultaneously.
