Senior Counsel

The Senior Counsel at Schonfeld will join the Legal Team, focusing on Portfolio Management and Capital Development & Investor Relations. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate closely with senior management, blending legal expertise with business strategy.

Key responsibilities include drafting and negotiating contracts with portfolio managers, overseeing fund formation and capital development, and managing strategic transactions. The position also involves partnering with various departments and managing external counsel.

Candidates should possess a J.D. from an accredited law school, admission to a state bar, and 8-10 years of experience in investment management or funds. Superior legal analytical and drafting skills, along with strong organizational and interpersonal abilities, are essential.

The base salary for this role is expected to be between $250,000 and $275,000, with potential eligibility for performance bonuses and a competitive benefits package.
