Panther is a remote-first company specializing in security operations automation through AI agents. As a Senior Corporate Counsel, you will be the primary legal contact, overseeing all legal functions and reporting directly to the Head of Finance.

Your key responsibilities will include drafting and negotiating complex customer and vendor contracts, managing various legal areas such as privacy, intellectual property, and employment law, and defining the company's legal strategy to ensure organizational success. You will also oversee external law firms and collaborate cross-functionally with sales, finance, HR, and international operations to ensure compliance with relevant laws and company policies.

The ideal candidate will possess a Juris Doctor (J.D.) with bar admission in good standing from any U.S. state, at least 5 years of total experience with a minimum of 3 years in-house, and experience managing the legal function for a growth-stage company. Significant experience negotiating customer and vendor agreements in a B2B SaaS or technology company is essential, along with a practical, business-oriented approach to balancing legal and contractual issues with business risk. Proficiency in corporate governance, commercial law, and data privacy is required, as well as excellent analytical, communication, and contract drafting skills.

Compensation includes a base salary ranging from $175,000 to $200,000 USD annually, dependent on experience, along with equity participation in the company's incentive stock options plan.
