This role offers the opportunity to provide strategic legal guidance and transactional support across the organization, focusing on managing supplier and member agreements, advising on compliance matters, and supporting group purchasing operations in a highly regulated industry. The position is hybrid, based in Nashville, TN, or remote within the U.S.

As a Senior Corporate Counsel, you will independently draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial documents, including supplier contracts, membership agreements, intellectual property, licensing, consulting arrangements, and custom pricing agreements. You will develop and maintain contract templates, provide legal guidance on contract interpretation, and advise on compliance with applicable laws and regulations, including Anti-Kickback statutes and GPO Safe Harbor requirements. Additionally, you will assist in drafting and implementing policies related to contracting processes, ethics, and compliance, and conduct training and presentations for internal stakeholders on legal and compliance matters.

The ideal candidate will have a J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school with strong academic credentials and be licensed to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction. With over 5 years of legal experience, preferably from a large law firm, and additional in-house experience, you should possess expertise in drafting and negotiating commercial, procurement, and supply chain agreements. M&A experience is strongly preferred. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are essential, along with the ability to manage complex legal projects and competing priorities.

CoreTrust offers a competitive compensation package, including employee medical coverage plans, company-subsidized dental and vision coverage, and a dollar-for-dollar 401(k) match up to 6% of your salary with immediate vesting. Additional benefits include company-paid short-term and long-term disability coverage, an Employee Assistance Program to support your well-being and mental health, and annual stipends for undergraduate/graduate college courses and continuing education courses/certifications. The company provides a brand-new, state-of-the-art, tech-enabled work environment in downtown Nashville and promotes a flexible/hybrid work culture.

Joining CoreTrust Purchasing Group means becoming part of a fast-growing, well-resourced company that values intellectual curiosity and strong business acumen. You will have the opportunity to influence critical initiatives across all lines of business and work closely with internal and external stakeholders, including supplier partners, private equity firms, government agencies, and large enterprise organizations. The company fosters a collaborative environment where you can anticipate procurement trends and regulatory impacts, contributing to the organization's mission to transform procurement processes and accelerate value realization.
