Senior Contracts Administrator

BESIX Watpac is seeking a Senior Contracts Administrator to join our team in Brisbane. This role involves collaborating with our Building Works department to manage contract administration for large-scale construction projects. The Senior Contracts Administrator will oversee the trade package tendering process, including preparing and approving tender documents, issuing and receiving tenders, and submitting recommendations for approval. Responsibilities also encompass preparing contract documents, submitting monthly reports on cash flow forecasting and cost analysis, administering variation and progress claims under Head and Subcontract Agreements, and ensuring internal cost controls in collaboration with the Project and Commercial Manager.

Candidates should possess a degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or equivalent experience. Demonstrated experience in leading contract administration on large building projects, including mentoring and supervising others, is essential. Strong communication skills, the ability to build effective relationships at all levels, and the capacity to work autonomously using initiative and sound decision-making are also required.
