Senior Consultant Legal (Employment Law Advisory)
Deloitte is seeking a Senior Consultant Legal specializing in Employment Law Advisory to join their regulatory team. This role involves providing expert legal counsel to clients, including businesses and individuals, on complex commercial and employment law issues. The successful candidate will advise on commercial agreements, business transactions, and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Additionally, the role includes providing company secretarial support and assisting clients with legal due diligence.
Key responsibilities encompass advising clients on business transactions such as corporate restructuring, debt and equity financing, company law, corporate governance, buy-outs, joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions, and employment law. The consultant will work effectively with team members to manage client engagements, build and maintain client relationships, and contribute to business development for corporate legal services.
Candidates should have a minimum of five years of relevant experience in a similar consulting or advisory role. A graduate degree in law, business, management, economics, accounting, or a related discipline with at least a second-class upper division is required. Admission to the Ghana Bar (Qualifying Certificate in Law or its equivalent) is mandatory. An LLM or other master’s degree is advantageous. Excellent research and analytical skills, a constructive and solutions-focused approach to work, and prior experience in providing employment law and related employee services are essential.
