Senior Compliance Specialist, Business Resiliency
The Senior Compliance Specialist, Business Resiliency at Spring Health is a pivotal role within the IT Compliance team, focusing on the development and enhancement of the company's enterprise resilience program. This position collaborates across all departments and with key vendors to ensure the organization is prepared to effectively handle and recover from disruptive events, while adhering to regulatory and customer assurance standards.
Key responsibilities include coordinating and advancing the Business Continuity (BC), Disaster Recovery (DR), and Crisis Management programs to ensure they are actionable and measurable. The specialist will serve as the primary liaison to Department BCP/DR Champions, providing templates, guidance, and clear definitions to facilitate execution across teams such as Engineering, Clinical Operations, and Member Support. Additionally, the role involves planning and leading cross-functional exercises, maintaining the enterprise BCP/DR catalog, and coordinating Business Impact Analyses to align recovery priorities with operational impact.
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Business Continuity, Information Security, or a related field, along with at least 5 years of experience in business continuity, disaster recovery, or crisis management. Strong project management skills, excellent communication abilities, and proficiency in conducting risk assessments and developing mitigation strategies are essential. Certifications such as CBCP, MBCI, or similar are preferred.
